This morning, with a new client aka awesome mum, we attended the 10 annual Independent Schools Show. It was fantastic because it gave my client and her son the opportunity to learn about the many top schools that are in the UK.
I have to admit that it was also good for me too I had the chance to ask questions about the IB versus the A Level. I got some interesting information, which I'll share as a follow up to this quick post.
Back to my happy client. I knew the information was at times too much to take in and remember and that's why I'm glad she took me up on the offer to represent her and ask questions she might not of realized is important. Me being there gave her a bit of peace of mind.
It was fantastic that my client brought her son along because at the end of the day it's about the individual child and what they are also looking for. He was like a magnet to 5 top schools that have invited him to come to the school and have a taster day or weekend as some were boarding. He's also been asked to meet the sports coach and do some trials.
The experience was great for my clients and of course me.
I'll be following up on Monday and setting up those exciting tasters.
The young man is a talent in academics, sports, and drama. He will be an asset to any of the schools he's keen on. I can't wait to see which school he goes for!
